We are excited to Announce that our 4th Annual Kamryn’s Cause “Dancing With The Stars- St Jude Style” event will be held on Saturday, July 15th, 2023 at the Sugarcane Festival Building in New Iberia.

We are excited to introduce to your our 2023 Cast. Please take the time to read their bios and get to know them.

Voting will begin in May, so be sure to check back and Vote for your favorite team. All Votes raised will be donated to St Jude Children’s Research Center in memory of Kamryn.

Team Wicked

 

Susan Clifton – is a 5th grade teacher at Loreauville Elementary. Susan was born in New York and moved to Loreauville in 2007.  The Village has become her home and together with her loving husband, James Clifton, they have 4 wonderful children. They have 3 boys – Taylor, Chase and Kyle and 1 princess to finish the clan, Colette. Susan is an active member of The Loreauville Community Project where she helps with many activities in and around the Loreauville area. She has been involved in many fundraisers for The American Cancer Society as well as St Jude.

What was your feeling when you were asked to be a participant for this wonderful event?

“I was honored to be asked. I have been helping with Kamryn’s Cause events since the beginning.”

 

Colette Clifton – age 6, is currently in kindergarten at Loreauville Elementary. Dancing is one of her favorite things she loves, and she is currently attending Solely Dance in Loreauville. Other extra-curricular activities she enjoys are gymnastics, soccer, and she loves to draw, color and paint.

Most exciting thing you are looking forward to doing for your first time in DWTS?

“I am excited to be on the stage.”

Team Chaos

Tanya Viator – has lived in the Village of Loreauville all her life. Her and her loving husband of 22 years, Randy, couldn’t be more proud to do the same and raise their children here. Together they have 2 wonderful children, Breigh – 16 and Carter – 11. Tanya and Randy know what it means to live in a small town and you can find them many weekends hanging with friends and family cooking and having a good time.

What was your feeling when you were asked to be a participant for this wonderful event?

“I was very excited to be in this wonderful event to help raise money for a great organization who give so much to their patients. After hearing what they have done for family and friends, there is no way I could say NO to be a part of this. It is my way of giving back to them.”

 

Breigh Viator – age 16, is currently a Junior at Loreauville High School. Breigh has a passion for dance and was able to express that in her 9 years of dance class, but people would say her biggest passion is Softball. She has been playing softball since she was 5 years of age……from LYBA, to travel ball to being a Lady Tiger at LHS, her talents can definitely be seen on and off the field. After graduation, Breigh plans to study and continue her education in sports medicine.

Most exciting thing you are looking forward to doing for your first time in DWTS?

“Dancing with my family and seeing how much trouble me and Cameron can get into!”

 

Crystal Courville – was born and raised in Loreauville. She has been married to the love of her life, Scott, for 25 years. Together they have 2 beautiful children, Cassidy – 21 and Cameron – 18. Crystal spends much of her free time with friends and family, cooking, grilling, Jeeping for a cause, boating on the lake or just chilling by a fire.

What was your feeling when you were asked to be a participant for this wonderful event?

“Excited to help out with a great cause.”

 

Cameron Courville – age 18, is currently a Junior at Loreauville High School. At a young age Cameron developed a love for dance. His passion and joy for dance was visible on and off the stage. During his dance journey he won many awards at the competition level. Like his parents, he loves spending time with family, cooking, boating on the lake and Jeeping for a cause.

Dancing with my mom…………….”

Team Home Sweet Homan

Joni Homan – was born and raised in New Iberia, and moved to Loreauville 9 years ago with her wonderful husband of 19 years, Michael. Together they have 6 children and are expecting their first grandbaby very soon. She is currently employed as a school bus driver but her true passion is homesteading. She loves gardening and living off the land. Joni loves serving and being a part of The Community Church of New Iberia.   

What was your feeling when you were asked to be a participant for this wonderful event?

“I am honored to be a part of this event.”

 

Elijah Homan – age 18, is currently a Senior at Loreauville High School and is a dedicated member of the LHS 4-H Club. He specializes in livestock and loves raising sheep. Elijah sings The Community Church Youth Worship Team. After graduation he plans on attending La Tech and majoring in animal science, from there he plans to go to Veterinary School.

Most exciting thing you are looking forward to doing for your first time in DWTS?

“Looking forward to being a part of making a difference and helping St. Jude.”

 

Ocean Homan – age19, is currently a sophomore in college. Although she has previous dance experience from attending Paige’s School of Dance, she says that it has been a while since she has danced on a stage. She is a member of The Community Church, and in the past has helped to choreograph for the children’s church and chapel.

Most exciting thing you are looking forward to doing for your first time in DWTS?

“The ability to see the community come together and help those in need.”

  

Ireland Homan – age 13 loves raising, training and showing pigs for 4-H Livestock shows. In her spare time, she loves to draw and talk to friends.

 

Izzy Homan – age 11, loves to skateboard, raise goats and show them in Livestock shows for 4-H. He is also an active Boy Scout Member. In his spare time, he loves to play outside.

 

Bentley Homan – age 8, loves to play basketball. In his spare time, he loves to play outside.

Team Famous Flames

Shadell Price – was born and raised in Loreauville, where she is currently raising her family with her wonderful husband of 12 years, Emick Jr. Together they have 3 amazing sons, Ean – 18, Eli – 11 and Erron – 8. Shadell is the Supervisor, Head Teller and Customer Service Representative of First National Bank of Jeanerette’s Loreauville branch. Her and her husband are both devoted and lifelong parishioners at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church of Loreauville where she also serves as a Eucharistic Minister. She is a faithful member of the Knights of Peter Claver Court #195 and Fourth Degree Ladies of Grace St. Catherine of Sienna Chapter No.16

What was your feeling when you were asked to be a participant for this wonderful event?

“My feeling was very heart warming. Being a breast cancer survivor this means a lot to me to be able to give back to such a worthy cause. St. Jude has always been one that I love donating to because of what its for.”

 

Ean Price – age 17, is currently a Senior at Loreauville High School where he is involved in many extracurricular activities including National Beta Club, Chapel Club, Firestarter Leadership, Teen Court and National Honor Society. He also serves as the Student Council President and was Student of The Year and LHS Homecoming King in 2022. He is very active in sports and is a member of the LHS Football Team, LHS Basketball Team, is active in Track and also a member of the LHS Bowling Team. He is a faithful member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Loreauville where he serves as an alter server and is a member of the Youth Choir.

Ean is currently employed with the Village of Loreauville. After graduation Ean plans to attend college and major in Law.

 

Most exciting thing you are looking forward to doing for your first time in DWTS?

“I am enthusiastic about dancing with my team.”

 

Eli Price – age 10, is currently a 5th grade honor student at Loreauville Elementary where he is a member of the Beta Club and 4-H Club. Eli was a finalist for Loreauville Elementary’s 2022-2023 Student Of the Year! He plays football and is also active in soccer for Loreauville Peewee Athletics. Eli is a faithful member at Our Lady of Victory Church where he also participates in the Youth Choir. During his spare time he loves playing video games, working with his dad, playing outside and riding his bike. 

Most exciting thing you are looking forward to doing for your first time in DWTS?

“I am excited about dancing with my mom, brothers and my cousin Saige.”

 

Erron Price – age 7, is currently a 2nd grade straight A, honor student at Loreauville Elementary. He plays football, baseball and soccer for Loreauville Peewee Athletics. He is a faithful member at Our Lady of Victory Church where he also participates in the Youth Choir. During his spare time he loves playing video games, reading, riding his bike and playing sports.

“ I am excited about dancing with my mom and brothers.”

 

Saige Livingston – age 5, will be an upcoming 1st grade student at Loreauville Elementary School. She has been in dancing for the past 2 years and is currently attending Solely Dance in Loreauville. She LOVES to dance and can be seen on Friday nights supporting the LHS Tigers and dancing along with the LHS Band, Tigerettes and Cheerleaders! Saige is a faithful member at Our Lady of Victory Church where she also participates in the Youth Choir. She also loves sports and has been playing T-Ball for LYBA for the past 2 years.

Most exciting thing you are looking forward to doing for your first time in DWTS? 

“I look forward to dancing with my nanny and my cousins on stage.”

 

 

Choreographer – Ajia Collins, teaches and choreographs at Louisiana Dance Power House. She is also a dance team coach at Belle Place Middle School.

 

 

 

Team MAXimum Moves

 

Tommy Ronsonet – is a lifelong resident of Loreauville.  He and his beautiful wife Annette, have 3 children (Kirby, Willie and Brynn) and 6 grandchildren (Emma, Bennett, Lyla, Max, Livi and Loa).

Tommy has been a local business owner for almost 50 years.  He has also been a very active member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church parish council for over 40 years. Tommy loves getting involved in helping people in need, good causes, local schools and organizations.  He has been a “BIG” St. Jude supporter for many years.  Since 2021, he is passionate about giving back to the hospital that has done so much for his grandson, Max (along with Max’s parents, Brock and Brynn).

What was your feeling when you were asked to be a participant for this wonderful event?

“ Yes, Yes, and YES!”

 

 

Emma Arnaud – is currently a freshman at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, majoring in accounting.  She was raised in Loreauville and is a 2022 graduate of Catholic High School. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Emma is passionate about giving back to St. Jude. While her parents and Max were in Memphis, she took it upon herself to raise money by selling bracelets with the slogan “MAXimum Faith”.  Bracelet sales raised over $7,000 and all proceeds were donated to St. Jude Research Hospital. Since then she has spoken at various St. Jude fundraisers and benefits.

What was your feeling when you were asked to be a participant for this wonderful event?

“I couldn’t say yes fast enough. I am honored for the opportunity to take part in this event. I hope that everybody enjoys our performance as much as we will. “

 

 

Max Borres – age 10, is currently a 4th grade honor roll student at Catholic High School of New Iberia. He loves video games and jumping on his trampoline.  He also likes to sing and dance.

Max is a brain cancer survivor and has been a St. Jude patient since May 2021.

“I am excited to be dancing with Papa, Emma and Livi”

 

 

Livi Ronsonet – age 7, is currently a 1st grade honor roll student at Loreauville Elementary.

She has been in dancing for the past 2 years and is currently a student at Elite Dance in Loreauville. Livi has also enjoyed playing LYBA T-ball for the past 2 years.

“ I am most excited about dancing with Papa, Emma and Max.”

Team Bro

Chad Breaux –  was born and raised in New Iberia, LA and relocated to Loreauville upon meeting his beautiful wife and Loreauville native, Michelle Mestayer Breaux. They have been married for 22 years and have two children Devon Dressel and Jordis Breaux. A graduate of ULL, Chad is the District Manager for Probation and Parole and has been employed with the Department of Corrections for 25 years. Chad is also the guitarist for the acoustic country group 2 in the Chamber. The family are members of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Chad served as volunteer coach for LYBA for eight seasons.

 

What was your feeling when you were asked to be a participant for this wonderful event?

“I’m very proud of being chosen to participate in Dancing with the Stars. I am also very nervous. I have been on the stage entertaining people for most of life, just never without a guitar in my hands. However, I welcome the chance to support St. Jude and Kamryn’s Cause. Cancer has affected so many people and has touched my life in the past few years. They have done so much for so many, how could I not cherish the opportunity.”

 

 

Jordis Breaux – age 17, is currently a Junior at Loreauville High School, where she is a member of the Beta Club, the National Honor Society and she is also a member of the Loreauville Tigerettes Dance Team. Currently attending Solely Dance in Loreauville, she has studied the art of dance since she was 2 years old and has 14 years of experience. She has been on the competitive dance team with Kamryn’s sister, Kristyn for the past seven years. In 2019, she was awarded the Kamryn Dorsey Memorial Award at the BDA Dance recital.

 

What was your feeling when you were asked to be a participant for this wonderful event?

“I am most excited about dancing with my daddy and supporting St. Jude.”

Team We Share Clothes

 

Christy Finley – is currently a Senior Music Education student at LSU. During her 4 years at LSU she was part of the LSU Tiger Band and participated in many concert ensembles and jazz band. During football season in Acadiana, she is a brass tech for many surrounding high schools including Loreauville High.

What was your feeling when you were asked to be a participant for this wonderful event?

“I was very excited to be able to do something for a great cause and being able to do it with my sisters.”

 

 

Katie Finley – age 18, is currently a Senior at Loreauville High School where she is a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club and the LHS Band. She plans to attend UL of Lafayette after graduation. Katie has been in dancing for the past 9 years and on the competition team for the past 3 years.

Most exciting thing you are looking forward to doing for your first time in DWTS?

I am looking forward to all the memories and laughs that will happen preparing for our time on stage. I am also excited about raising money to help people who are going through the same thing Kamryn did.”

 

 

Stephanie Finley – age 13, is currently an 8th grade student at Loreauville High School. She is a member of the Jr Beta club. Stephanie has been in dancing for the past 5 years, a member of the competition team for 3 years and also did a few years of cheerleading.

Most exciting thing you are looking forward to doing for your first time in DWTS?

“I just want to make more memories with my sisters and especially doing my favorite thing, DANCE! I’m honored that I am able to help raise money for people like Kamryn.”

Team Flippin’ Awesome

Morgann Leleux Romero – a graduate from Catholic High of New Iberia, La. has been with her high school sweetheart for the past 12 years, Jacob Romero, and has been happily married to him for the past 6 years. While in her senior year of high school, Morgann broke the national high school female record in the girl’s pole vault. After graduation she received a full-ride track & field scholarship to attend the University of Georgia. During her 4 years of college, she received multiple All American and SEC Championship awards. In 2016 she was an Olympic Alternate for USA Track & Field. She is a 2021 Olympian and an Olympic finalist for USATF. She says that she couldn’t have done any of this without her wonderful family support in which her parents started, own & operate New Heights Gym to help support her and other kids trying to reach their dreams! 

She is currently employed with Stryker Medical and she is a Gymnastics Coach for New Heights Gym.

 

What was your feeling when you were asked to be a participant for this wonderful event?

“Overjoyed to not only be able to participate in an amazing event, but to be asked and get to join one of the gymnasts I coach makes it extra special. This is definitely going to be a memory of a lifetime!”

 

 

Sophia Saunier – age 10, is currently a 5th grade student at Loreauville Elementary School where she is a Straight A Student. She is also enrolled in gifted and talented for math. Sophia is in Beta club at LES. She also participates in the Iberia Parish Theatre program. She has been in gymnastics for 7 years including 4 years on a competitive gymnastic team at New Heights Gym. In her spare time Sophia designs and shows jewelry for her own business called “Simply Sophie”.

 

Most exciting thing you are looking forward to doing for your first time in DWTS?

“I am excited to dance with my coach and support Kamryn’s Cause.”

Team Scarlet’s Angels

 

Shavondra Joseph – was born and raised in Loreauville where she still resides today with her 2 beautiful daughters, Gabby – age 15 and Shanelle – age 10. Besides being a very busy full-time mom, She has a master’s in Early Childhood Education, is employed with the Iberia Parish School Board and is currently a kindergarten teacher at Pesson Elementary. She is a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Shavondra is also the coordinator of the Liturgical Dancers with the Our Lady of Victory Church. Even with her busy life she finds time to own, run and manage her own business – Von’s Crafty Creations, specializing in T-shirts. Shavondra is also an Independent Travel Agent.

What was your feeling when you were asked to be a participant for this wonderful event?

“A little shocked at first but knowing it was for St. Jude I couldn’t say no. My niece Niyah was a friend of Kamryn and is the same age as her. Also knowing this is in honor of Kamryn and a little extra special for me as I have a good friend who is currently as St. Jude with her daughter.”

 

 

Gabrielle Brooks – age 15, is currently a freshman at Loreauville High School. She is a scholar and honor roll student and participates in many school activities such as Sr. Beta, Basketball, Softball and LHS Cheerleading. Gabby has 12 years of dance experience and is currently a student at Solely Dance in Loreauville. She is also a liturgical dancer for Our Lady of Victory Church in Loreauville.

Most exciting thing you are looking forward to doing for your first time in DWTS?

“Having this experience with my family.”

 

 

Shanelle Joseph – age 10, is currently a 5th grader at Loreauville Elementary where she is a scholar and honor roll student and is involved in Beta. She has been in dancing for 8 years at Louisiana Dance Powerhouse and has been on their Elite Dance Company competition team for the past 5 years. Shanelle is also a liturgical dancer at Our Lady of Victory Church in Loreauville.

“Seeing my family and friends come watch me dance!”

Team Betty & The Jets

Betty Guidry – has been employed at Loreauville High School for the past 30 plus years. She is a substitute teacher and an avid volunteer in many departments at LHS. She is a mother of 2 handsome sons, Brian and Scott and 1 beautiful daughter Guinn. She is also the grandmother of 4 wonderful boys, Gavin, Landon, Owyn, and Levi and 1 wonderful granddaughter Lexi and they all call her “Mama G”.

My Betty is the epitome of a Volunteer and can be seen throughout the Village volunteering her time, working concessions, selling tickets, popping popcorn or calling out BINGO for LHS, LES and for many other organizations. She is also a Lay minister and Eucharistic minister at St Joseph’s Catholic Church of Loreauville.

What was your feeling when you were asked to be a participant for this wonderful event?

“NO, NO, NO!!!!” (…..…but with some persuasion from Tibi, she will be honored to do it and looks forward to Making Memories)

 

 

Guinn Guidry – was born and raised in Loreauville. She is the very busy mother of 3 wonderful sons, Gavin – 21, Landon-18 and Owyn – 10 and is the happiest she can be watching them at all their extra- curricular activities. She is a nurse and has worked in healthcare for the past 25 years. For the past 12 years she has worked as a LPN and currently works with Dr. Lon Baronne II at Louisiana Orthopedics Specialist. Guinn is no stranger to dancing. Besides being in dance for over 12 years, she was also an LHS Tigerette and a LHS Majorette.

What was your feeling when you were asked to be a participant for this wonderful event?

“Surprised yet super excited to be a part of the show!”

 

 

Owyn Lancon – age 10, is currently a 5th grade honor student at Loreauville Elementary School where he is active in Beta Club. He is also in the gifted art program at LES. Owyn is involved in lots of extra- curricular activities including Soccer, Baseball, Basketball and Football. He is also an avid music lover and takes lessons on the Ukelele, Piano and Drums.
