2021 – DWTS 2
Our 2nd Annual Kamryn’s Cause “DANCING WITH THE STARS – St Jude Style” was held Saturday, October 2, 2021! We had TEN wonderful Teams that helped us to raise over $18,000 for St Jude Children’s Research Center in memory of Kamryn Dorsey!
We had a Tie this year!! Two Teams raised over $3500 each and there was less than a $10 difference between them!

Team Beauty n Beast
TEAM MEMBERS: Sully Gondron and daughter Landrie
Sully Gondron – is a Proud Loreauville native, resident and business owner. Sully has been married to his wife, Kasie, for 8 years and they have two children, Landrie (6) and Charlie (5).
Sully is the co-owner/operator of cheMIXtry, LLC, a music solutions company, providing cheer and dance mixes to programs around the globe. Sully and his wife also serve as production editors for Krewe de Wideload, the LHS Spring Play, Kamryn’s Cause and a host of other events in the Acadiana Area. Sully is a 2009 Marketing graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
In the springtime, you can catch him at the Loreauville High School Baseball and Softball fields as the voice of the Tigers. He is also the managing producer for Young Hub City and a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
What was your feeling when you were asked to be a participant for this wonderful event?
“I was overjoyed with honor; I thought they’d never ask!!!”
Landrie Gondron, age 6- will be an upcoming 2nd grade student at Loreauville Elementary. She just completed her 5th year of dancing at Bridget’s Dance Academy, her 2nd year of Competition Dance with BDA Elite plus her 2nd year of Tumbling. This year she received the Student of Year Award at BDA for her age group!
If you have gotten a chance to see her on stage then you know that she was born to perform!
What is the most exciting thing you are looking forward to doing for your first time on DWTS?
“I am excited about dancing with my daddy!!”

TEAM MEMBERS: Bryan Judice and stepdaughter Hannah Gaudet
Bryan Judice – has been living in the Loreauville Community his entire life of 48 years. He is married to Amy Berard Judice. He has 2 step children, Hannah (20) and Zachary (17). He has been a part of the New Iberia Men’s Rosary Group for the past four years. He is a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church in Loreauville. He participates in various organizations including Acadiana’s Hope for a Cure and Danielle’s Cajun Krewe. He has been a BIG supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital for many years. He has participated in the Memphis St. Jude’s Marathon Weekend every December for the past six years.
What was your feeling when you were asked to be a participant for this wonderful event?
“EXCITED!!! I am honored to participate in this dancing event to benefit Kamryn’s Cause”
Hannah Gaudet, age 20- is currently a Senior at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is in the Tri Delta Sorority at UL and served as previous Philanthropy Chair which included coordinating fundraisers for St. Jude. She was able to help raise over $50,000 in a year as Philanthropy Chair. She is currently a member of UL Preprofessional Society, a club for students pursuing careers in the medical field.
She was previously a dancer at Bridget’s Dance Academy for many years.
What is the most exciting thing you are looking forward to doing for your first time on DWTS?
“I’m most excited about making memories and having fun with B! DWTS is such a fun opportunity for me and B because St. Jude is near and dear to both of our hearts”
CHOREOGRAPHER: Morgan and Grace Boggs
EMBERS: Ashlie Boutte and daughter Cameron
Ashlie Boutte – is a Senior Director with Limelife. She has been married for 10 years to Chase and they have 2 kids, Cameron (6) and James (3). She was born and raised in Loreauville but currently resides in Broussard, La. She is a member of the Broussard Chamber of Commerce. She is also the Chair person of the Mayor Al Broussard Memorial.
What was your feeling when you were asked to be a participant for this wonderful event?
“SUPER EXCITED!! Me and my girl both LOVE TO DANCE and this event is extra special because it’s for such a great cause.”
Cameron Boutte, age 6 is currently a 2nd grader at St. Cecelia School in Broussard, La. where she has been the missionary disciple of the month the past 2 years. She has also been a member of the running club at school for the past 2 years. She has been in dancing the past 5 years at Paige’s Dance and Cheer Studio of New Iberia.
What is the most exciting thing you are looking forward to doing for your first time on DWTS?
“Getting to know the other dancers and contributing to St. Jude’s on behalf of sweet Kamryn.”
CHOREOGRAPHER: Paige Snay
TEAM MEMBERS: Blair Faucheaux and son Hunter
Blair Faucheaux, grew up in Loreauville and is a 2001 graduate of Loreauville High School. After graduation he went on to play football at McNeese. He has been married to his wife, Elise Babineaux Faucheaux, for the past 11 years and together they have 2 sons, Hunter (10) and Harrison (7). Blair is the Deputy Assessor at the Iberia Parish Tax Assessors Office in New Iberia. Blair is involved in many organizations including the Rusty Ruiz Foundation (R3), Loreauville Little League, FNA Football League, Iberia Soccer Association and he is also the Treasurer of Iberia on Tap. He is a Board Member of “Ush One See”, a non profit organization started 6 years ago in honor of his son Hunter who was born with Usher Syndrome.
What was your feeling when you were asked to be a participant for this wonderful event?
” I started sweating!!!…..but I couldn’t say No to such a worthy cause and I knew Hunter would have fun doing it”
Hunter Faucheaux, age 10 is currently a 5th grade student at Catholic High of New Iberia where he is an Honor Roll student. Hunter has dance experience with 5 years of Hip Hop classes from Studio 84.
What is the most exciting thing you are looking forward to doing for your first time on DWTS?
“I am excited to raise money for kids with cancer while having fun!”

TTEAM MEMBERS: Karen Boudreaux and granddaughter Katelyn Boutte
Karen Boudreaux – was born and raised in Loreauville. She has been married to her husband, Ken, for almost 18 years. Together they have 5 children and 6 grandchildren. Karen recently retired after being the Postmaster in Loreauville for the past 36 years, with 40 years of service in the US Postal Service. She has served as the state editor for her Postmaster Organization for the past six years. She has been a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church council for over 20 years, of which she is currently the Vice President, and a lifelong parishioner. Her hobbies include gardening, camping, reading and traveling.
What was your feeling when you were asked to be a participant for this wonderful event?
“I was very excited to be asked to be a part of such a beautiful event to support a great charity like St. Jude’s. I am also very excited to be able to dance with my granddaughter.”
Katelyn Boutte – age 6, attends Loreauville Elementary and will be in Kindergarten in the fall. She loves playing with her Barbies and her iPad. She enjoys drawing, camping, swimming and playing with her family and friends.
What is the most exciting thing you are looking forward to doing for your first time on DWTS?
“I’m excited to be dancing with my Nana.”

TEAM MEMBERS: Kayla Landry and neighbor Gavin Dorsey
Kayla Landry, is the daughter of Tammy Broussard Landry of New Iberia, Glenrey Landry of Delcambre and Granddaughter of the late Anthony “J-Bird” Broussard. Kayla is a 2009 Graduate of Catholic High School of New Iberia. At only 16 months old, Kayla showed an aptitude for dancing. Inspired by her mother, owner of Tammy’s School of Dance in Loreauville, Kayla developed a passion for the art of dance. To this day Kayla loves spending time with family and friends, shopping, and of course dancing. As an adult Kayla now works in the medical field specializing in mental health, giving those in need the help they deserve. Just to brighten someone’s day is the most rewarding experience she could ask for. She currently resides in Catahoula with her partner, Lennie, and their dog Bentley. In junior high school Kayla was crowned Miss Louisiana Preteen. During that time she had the opportunity to visit St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital; a most cherished experience that will live on in her heart forever.
What was your feeling when you were asked to be a participant for this wonderful event?
” I am honored and excited to participate in this special event with Gavin in memory of a gorgeous soul, his sweet cousin Kamyrn. It’s my way of giving back to families like Kam’s in the most difficult of times.”
Gavin Dorsey, aka GMoney, is the son of Betsy and Clint Dorsey, godfather of Kamryn. He was born a twin, but says that he is totally different in every sense of the word “different”. He is 15 years old and currently a 10th grader at St. Martinville Sr. High School. He is in the school marching band and plays the trumpet, baritone and mellophone. He loves music in general. He is an alter server for St. Rita’s Catholic Church and is also a member of the Edge Youth Group of Catahoula where he resides. He loves bike riding, fishing and soccer. He is very outgoing and he says that “everyone is a friend, I just haven’t met yet”.
What is the most exciting thing you are looking forward to doing for your first time on DWTS?
“When Kayla asked me to join her in a dance routine for this event, I was excited to be able to help Kamryn’s Cause. I am happy to participate in the loving memory of my dear cousin. She knew how much I loved to put on a show in front of everyone with my signature dance moves. So this one’s for the true star of the show, Kamryn, who I know is smiling, and dancing right along with GMoney Too Tall!”
CHOREOGRAPHER: Tammy Landry
TEAM MEMBERS: John Anthony and daughter Jamison
John Anthony, was born and raised in Loreauville but now resides in California. Even though he lives miles away he still has connections back in the Village. He remodeled the elementary school back in 2002, which we now call “THE OLD SCHOOL” into a multi function event hall which is used for a variety of events today. John has a passion for music and got his first taste of the music world singing in high school plays. In 1989 he and his two brothers started the band “LeJit”, with Anthony singing and playing the keyboard. The group played in Atlanta clubs and in casinos from Bay St. Louis to Biloxi and all along the Mississippi Coast. John would go on to perform in Las Vegas. He is also a music producer with his own recording studio here in Loreauville and produced the very first “Christmas in The Village” CD in 2019!
John is now retired from singing in Vegas and from what he calls “the nonsense.” When he’s not homeschooling his son and daughter, he revels in kicking back in the bathtub and binge watching his favorite westerns: “Bonanza” and “Gunsmoke.”
Jamison Anthony, is 12yrs old and LOVES her animals. Animal this, animal that, she says let her house be a zoo! Jamison has a passion for music just like her father and plays the piano and the guitar. She is a 7th grader at Nevada Virtual Academy which she loves because it allows her more time to spend with her animals!
CHOREOGRAPHER: John Anthony
TEAM MEMBERS: Brooksie Moore and daughter Jami Claire
Brooksie Moore, was born and raised in Loreauville. She is the daughter of Jeff and Ethel Foreman. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Jamie for 27 years. Together they have 4 children and three grandchildren with another one soon on the way! She enjoys being there for her kids and grandkids. She has recently started on a new path to help others find health!
What was your feeling when you were asked to be a participant for this wonderful event?
“I was so honored when I was asked. Kathleen and I were childhood friends as well as neighbors today. I have admired her strength through all of this and it makes me more than happy to participate in such a great cause. Helping keep her sweet girls memory alive warms my heart.”
Jami Claire, age 14 is currently a 9th grader at Loreauville High School where she is a Straight A student. She will be a cheerleader for the LHS Tigers this upcoming 2021-22 football season. She loves to dance and has competed since she was 5 years old. She also enjoys shooting guns and riding four wheelers!
What is the most exciting thing you are looking forward to doing for your first time on DWTS?
” I am looking forward to dancing with my mom and having some fun doing what I love while helping such a great cause.”

TEAM MEMBERS: Emily Bonin and sister Camille
Emily Bonin is a 2018 graduate of Catholic High School of New Iberia. She is currently attending the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and will be graduating with her degree in secondary education.
What is the most exciting thing you are looking forward to doing for your first time on DWTS?
“I’m super excited to be participating in DWTS. I am a little nervous because I am not a dancer at all but I can’t wait. I’m looking forward to participating in this wonderful event for Kamryn’s memory along side my little sis. I’m also looking forward to Camille’s choreography because she is super talented and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with.”
Camille Bonin is a 2020 graduate of Catholic High School of New Iberia. She is currently in her Sophomore year of college at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is planning to graduate with a degree in primary education. Camille is also a dance teacher at Bridget’s Dance Academy here in Loreauville and she has commented many of times how excited she is to be participating in this wonderful event!
What was your feeling when you were asked to be a participant for this wonderful event?
“The feeling that I felt when I was asked to participate in Dancing with the Stars is Honor. I felt so honored that Mrs. Kat thought of my sister and I to participate in this wonderful event that is going to be for an amazing cause. We will do our very best to make this a dance everyone will remember. I am so excited and cannot wait to hit the stage!”
